My last laptop came with a remote control but that laptop just burned out on me and I just got a new one that didn't come with one. I only used the remote a few times just to see what it did.

and how was it? was it good for everything? is it helpful to have a remote control for your computer?

It was like a Tv remote sort of. It went mostly to the media part like if I wanted to watch a movie I could hit play, stop, pause, etc..... It was real small and only had a few buttons.
