I have been at my position for almost 10 months, and am only 4 days away from being off probation!! Our probationionary is ten months, and it took forever. When being on probation for the government, you don't really want to count on the job, until you are done. I got my evaluation back last week, and I passed my probation. I just have four more days until I am officially off probation!!! I love my career soooo much. I get up every morning looking forward to going to work!!!

I am still on probation, untill March. I like my job too. I work from home at an american company. The only "bad" thing is that the work schedule is from 7 pm to 3 am. That is because we have to work at their schedule... (when it's 7 pm here, in america it's 9 am).
I can't call it career yet, cause i'm still in high school and i took this job only so i can have some extra money .

I don't have such thing anymore .. it's been 9 years since I had to face such a thing. I now have a steady job and my own web design firm. Love both jobs a lot

Well LaLa, sounds like you got it together. How did you find a company you can work from home for?? Just curious. What are you going to do after high school??

the web firm sounds very interesting Ramona!!! Glad to hear that you are in a steady job!!! I am finally in my career, and able to actually love it, knowing that I am going to be there until I retire, only 29 more years!!!

i just started a job with Alphagraphics after 3 years being at home,i love the job but miss the idea of being able to pick up thee kids from school and do whatever i want during the day. Thankfully they adore me there and im happy.

My bf "found" this company. He wanted to work and a friend of ours was working there and told him about it. The thinf is that the company is from America. If we lived there, we would go to an office, but, since we are from Romania, we work from home

After high school I want to go to college and study informatics. Then, I'll probably end up working for a company as programmer (i hope this is the correct word )... after that, who knows? Life is full of surprises

I'm currently at university and I work in a call centre to earn a bit of extra money. I hate it, I feel awful cold calling people and it makes you so miserable if they're nasty to you. But the pay is good and I only have 3 more weeks of it left anyway!

Sabriel, as long as the pay is good, just hang in there. All these skills (since you do gain some of them, even if you don't quite feel this) will be of tremendous help in the future.

A lof of us worked through the Uni and I cannot tell you how much this meant. I finished school and had also years of experience. And the salary is always a good idea. I always thought that it's better to have that money than to not have it
