Sabriel, we have an external harddrive, and I definitely *should* have backed it up, but as they say hindsight is 20/20... *sigh*

Doctor's visit today

The news wasn't at all what we wanted to hear. It turns out she doesn't have Paget's disease like the doctor's originally said. The cancer is much more invasive and difficult to treat. They fear it may have spread to other parts of her body. She has a CT scan tomorrow as well as a bone scan to find out.

She's in a lot of pain today because of the biopsy.

The plan so far is chemo for five or six months, surgery (mastectomy), and then radiation.

I'm so scared for her...and there's nothing at all I can do to help...

Sad I'm really sorry to here that Angie. It sounds like you're being really strong for her though, which I'm sure she appreciates. Keep us posted, and remember you can always vent to us if need-be Smile

We find out today if the cancer has spread to other parts of her body. This is so important...and I'm beyond scared... Sad
