Yes  Become concerned if it falls out and leaves patches, do not worry if its falling out in handfulls but you cannot notice where it is comming from.

There is a link between androgenic alopecia and PCOS, here is a link for a very informative site if you are interested

After having my son and breastfeeding for 15 months I noticed a bald spot on my head. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata. I

had many bald spots that were very large (the largest was about 2 inches in diameter). My doctor said no one knows the real cause of alopecia and he

expected my hair would start growing back within a few months. He told me we could try steriod injections (which totally freaked me out) into my scalp if

my hair didn't start growing back. I went to talk to my hair dresser. She was positive that my bald spots were caused by my still fluctuating hormones

from breastfeeding. She advised my to wean my boy. I had made it past my BFing goal (1 year), so I weaned him and sure enough. My hair started to grow

back! Now I've got patches of short hair, but it growing quickly and staying in.

I have frizzy flyaways ALL the time. I

cannot seem to get smooth hair unless I lump a bunch of Garnier Sleek and Shine Serum on it, and even than it's not as good as it could be.

It's naturally straight, but getting it sleek is nearly impossible. Any suggestions?

A good pair of straighteners will do the

trick, GHD's are my fav. expensive but so worth it. Another trick is spraying hairspray onto your brush then brushing the top layer of hair down smooth.
Frizz is usually caused by breakage, so make sure your not brushing your hair when it is wet (use a wide toothed comb)

I didn't know you wernt supposed to brush when wet. Good tip! Are split ends the same as 'breakage'? My stylist keeps telling me I have tons of split

ends and tries to sell me a small tub of $20 goop to put on it everytime I go in. Should I try the goop? I've been putting it off becasue I hate to spend

that much on a tiny little product, but if it might help....
(can't remember the name though, but it's kinda sticky and yellow)

I'll also try the hairspray trick. Smile

It doesnt cause split ends just the frizz

you get from breakages.
