Wink Any ideas for nice appetizers?
For the times we have to prepare a nice meal it's also a good idea to have an appetizer prepared. What is your favourite choice? What would you recommend?

If you get a baguette and cut it into thin slices, and grill them with some olive oil, then add cream cheese and smoked salmon to some, and cream cheese with fennel to others it's gorgeous. As are roasted peppers. Yum!

I'm an allrecipies.com addict. You can search by ingredients or dish or ethnicity ,etc. I would suggest a spinach and strawberry salad.

What about one of my faves, a ciabatta, cut in half length ways, then cut into pieces about 3 inches wide. Toast and then rub with a clove of garlic and sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil, the really good stuff. Add salt and fresh ground pepper if desired. You can also cover with finely chopped tomatoes with a hint of shredded basil.

Otherwise have a look at http://www.foodwizard.yourpower2be.com/s...soups.html

there is quite a selection there.

Stuffed mushrooms are super easy, classy and yummy. Recipe variations abound on the web. In a pinch, cheese and crackers work.

You never know what you can do until you try.
