Are you proud of who you are now?
Next year we'll have the 10 year anniversary of the high-school graduation. I'll meet my coleagues and we'll chat about these 10 years that passed so fast ... And I got a new idea for a topic from this situation: are you proud of who you are now? If you had to meet your coleagues too .. would you be ashemed? Not?

I generally like who I have become. Of course there are always a few things that I would like to change, like my skin and my dress size, but over all I am happy with me. I have a wonderful family & friends and have been blessed in so many ways because I am the person that I am
I havent lost my mind ... its backed up on disc .. somewhere

Absolutely! I have come such a long way....from a very depressed and withdrawn school girl to a confident ( most of the time...although Im still a bit shy) and happy woman. I have travelled and learnt so so much about life and myself. I have a beautiful baby boy and a pretty cool husband who just adores me....I would be very proud of what I have achieved! Im no career woman and I dont have any money but I feel rich in life itself.... And all the bullys that ever picked on me can go and eat their words!!

I'm happy of what I am & what I have now (although having a boyfriend would be nicer ),
the career path that I have right now might not be the one that I planned but it's a blessing in disguise.
its really true that it's not having what you want but wanting and being thankful of what you have 8)

I am happy with who I am now. It has been hard for me to live alone yet I am now a more confident woman because of it. I would like to meet someone though cause it does get lonely living alone.

Yes I am quite proud of who I am.
I left home at 18, because my parents didn't want me to continue my studies at high school (I was "a rebel teenager), but it was very clear in my head so I decided to leave home.
I had some very hard moments in my life (the first 3 months after I left home I lost 20 kg), but I managed to pass my technician's degree and later my mechanical engineer degree!
And 3 years after my graduation, I got married with the man I love (We met each other in Feb 2000, and got married in June 2001!), and now we have "a pretty little monster" who is 3 years and a half!
So I cannot say I am unhappy of who I am (for sure, thanks to my parents who "shook" me when I needed to be).
The only thing I reproach to mother nature is my tallness! (6 feet)... Sometimes it's a bit hard for me...

As a mom I do know sometimes it is our job to probe our children. Sometimes they don't like it at the time. Sounds like things are great now for you Travanita.
