In my opinion, you don't have to be afraid of bird flu as long as you cook the meat and the eggs very well. boiling takes away any germ that the meat has...

If you travel outside the US, you will notice that there are different standards of what we eat. I walked into a grocery store in Venezuela. You will notice the the smell of fish and bloody meat. I refuse to live life without Pepsi products, so this did not deter me.

We are told not to drink water in Mexico. Why? The people who live there are doing just fine and are healthy, but we get sick. It really is fact that we could act like dogs raiding garbage and be healthy. You will get sick if not used to it! I did....

I'm not worried about getting 'bird flu'. I'm not concerned about any food in the US making me sick. The above post is correct, don't eat it too raw! The heat of cooking kills all bacteria that can make you sick. I don't like runny eggs anyway!
