C-section or natural?

Well .. a "hot" topic for all women in here. We can all answer: the ones who are already moms and the ones who just think about it. What do you think was (will) be better for you as way to give birth? C-section? Natural? How are you planing to give birth? How did you do this?

Both mine were natural births, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. C-sec seems the easy way out but in the long run it's a lot more stress on your body what with the healing (they recommend doing nothing like driving or sex for at least 6 weeks here!), plus it has been proven that a natural birth stimulates the hormones and reactions that make bonding and everything else easier.

Of course if I needed a c-sec for mine or the baby's sake then I would but otherwise I certainly wouldn't approve for non-medical/emergency reasons. The staff the first time round tried getting me to have one due to border-line pre-eclampsia but I'd never heard anything about natural births being more dangerous because of this so I went with my instinct, and I am glad I did.

I am drunk.... Therefore am I wine?

I had emergency c-sections for both my boys, thankfully or my oldest wouldn't be here and neither would I. With Brodie he had foetal distress and the cord was wrapped around his neck twice.
With my youngest, Angus, I had very bad eclampsia with extremely high BP around 200/110. He was such a huge baby also.
I'm just glad that there was medical help available for me. I would hate to think what would've happened if there wasn't. After having my youngest though I was told never to have any more kids as it would put me at too much risk. I would love nothing more than to have another baby but I have resigned myself to waiting for the grandchildren to come along.

I havent lost my mind ... its backed up on disc .. somewhere

This is the same for me.

I of course would have had a c section if it was needed for my kids sake.

Had my tubes tied with the fourth.
