Ok guys, I need some assistance here. I am at wits in.

Well, I am sitting here at work today and I am on two vicodin so that I can manage to wear a tampon(it hurts really bad, but wearing a pad makes me blister), yes I am still bleeding it is not heavy but I have been on since 5/12/07, but I have my days. I was sitting in the car on Saturday and my pants turned completely red, I ended up in the emergency room, I have been rotating between a tampon and a pad for the last two months. I am tired, I can not do this. I have had 2 leeps, 2 colpo, several abnormal paps,1 TL, 1 TR, 6 cases of PID, 1 Case HPV,1 CT SCAN, Now recently (Sunday in ER) Diagnosised with endometriosis and ovarian cyst, I am tired, I can not live like this, I have thought bad thoughts often. I know I have my girls but, I can not take the pain anymore. I want it all gone, I am going to get fired at my job, for coming and going due to this situation.

I am hoping that when I go back in to the Dr on Thursday 7/5/07 I can just say hey I want a hysterectomy, lets get this planned, I can not live like this. I have been on 4 different type of BC in including Yasmin, Ortho, The shot and another generic BC, I still have abnormal Periods, Long periods and Horrible Cramps and pelvic pain in between. Now I have horrible bowel movements, painful bloody sex

6. Passed out 06/29 ended up in hospital, been on Menses sine 5/12 was diagnosied in hospital with blood filled uterus and (endo) and ovarian Cyst.

well nickee there is one other option im not sure it would work but you could definatly look into it, its called stop the flo, i know they advertise here in phx, and it might work for you. the docs might not want to do a full Hysterectomy due to your age, but if you are ready for menopause and what come with that and you are determined to do so and be demanding about it they will do what you want, and if the doc that you see now wont do it then continue to go to docs until someone will give you what you want. im so sorry that you are in so much pain, i hope you feel better and get the help you need, keep us posted.

Hi Nickee, I am so sorry that you are going through all of this. If you feel very strongly about having a hysterectomy tell your doctor exactly how you feel. Perhaps they don't understand exactly how you are feeling with all of this. I agree with fireniceaz about the fact that the dr's will consider you too young but it is your body and they should respect that it is your decision.
I hope that things improve for you. Please let us know how things go.

I havent lost my mind ... its backed up on disc .. somewhere

Hysterectomy

I am 30 years old, I have two children. I can not have anymore children, my tubes are scarred and my ovaries do not work. So at this point I am sitting here with all these problems, I just need some help, I will go to Dr, To Dr until I get one that will help me.

The problem with that procedure, I looked into that when it was just the bleeding, but what will help the pain.....

im not sure, can they do a partial hysterectomy? that might not slam you into the menopause, the only reason i say that about your age is that my obgyn didnt even want to do a tubaligation, i had to "argue" with him on it and it took some convincing on my part to get him to say ok, but just stand your ground

I don't know if you can ask for a Hysterectomy but I had a partial one back in '03 only too turn right around and need another one in Nov of '05. I'm now 36 years old and I wanted to have children or atleast one child but now that's out. The reasons for mine were different. I had a beign mass that had been blocking something inside of me which caused my right foot too swell. The swelling of my foot started about 12 years ago I believe and the mass was not detected until 2003. The mass was so big that my Surgeron had to cut it in half in order to get it out. Then in 2005 my left foot swelled up and I got suspicious. So I went to my family Dr smilie and told him to give me a vaginal ultrasound because I had a 'feeling' something wasn't right. Well, Needless to say when my Dr came back into the room he looked as if all the blood had been drained out of his face  and I took one look at him and said 'You found something didn't you'? He replied 'how did you know something was there' Turns out I had the EXACT same thing on the left side only this mass had wrapped itself around my uterus and fallopiain tube. I told the Dr 'God gave women a 6th 7th & 8th sense when it comes to our bodies. So it was off to my OBGYN for a complete Hysterectomy and any hopes of EVER giving birth Sad

So sorry to hear about your suffering girls. You are so brave, you just amaze me ..

I have read some stories about this and some of the women who had hysterectomy said that after all the problems with the operation itself (it is something serious) they feel way better. Some were very pleased with their life after this, so maybe this is a good option, with a good doctor by your side. If you already have kids and cannot have any anymore, I think the only thing that might make you not get a hysterectomy (the impossibility of giving birth) is gone ... so .. it might be an option indeed.

What did you discuss with your doctor? What;s the advice you got?

I wish you best of luck and will pray for a way to solve this. It's certain you cannot continue like this anymore. Keep us posted Wink
