Sorry to hear about this :?
I recall having some severe pains in my youth too (before getting on the contraception pill) and back then painkillers were almost useless ... That pain was something weird .. couldn't be "treated" as a "normal" pain .. hmm ..

I do experience PMS... my belly hurts a lot! i usually wait for it to go away. My mom gave me a pill a few months ago and it really works... i cant remember how its called though...
Oh i found some tips on the internet on how to controll PMS:
* Eat complex carbohydrates (such as whole grain breads, pasta and cereals), fiber and protein. Cut back on sugar and fat.
* Avoid salt for the last few days before your period to reduce bloating and fluid retention.
* Cut back on caffeine to feel less tense and irritable and to ease breast soreness.
* Cut out alcohol. Drinking it before your period can make you feel more depressed.
* Try eating up to 6 small meals a day instead of 3 larger ones.
* Get aerobic exercise. Work up to 30 minutes, 4 to 6 times a week.
* Get plenty of sleep--about 8 hours a night.
* Keep to a regular schedule of meals, bedtime and exercise.
* Try to schedule stressful events for the week after your period.
/*Sure God created man before woman. But then you always make a rough draft before the final masterpiece.*/

The family hardly know when I am pmsing! The only clue they get is when my skin gets all extra dry and extremely sore. Almost to the point where I can hardly walk.
I havent lost my mind ... its backed up on disc .. somewhere

I can get really bad cramps and back pain during my period. I have never had a problem with breast tenderness. I do get kind of grouchy the day before or the first day of my period.

I get bad bloating and then really bad cramps for a couple of days - a hot water bottle usually sorts them at night and I tend to rely on tigerbalm during the day. i get INCREDIBLY snarly as well - shout and fight with everyone, blame everything on everyone else and generally feel crap Chocolate helps though
