Do you play Sport?

My oldest was invited to play in a special needs (disability) netball team. His first practise session is tonight.

I was wondering if anyone else plays sport and what it was.

I used to play netball and I also used to do line dancing (which I considered a sport as its quite active)

I don't play sports. I think it's because i'm too lazy LOL
I used to do ballet when i was little though. It's not really a sport, but i think it counts Big Grin

I think ballet can be just as demanding as any sport so I'll count it even if no one else does lol

The boys had a ball at netball practise tonight. It brought back so many memories of when I used to play. Brodie loved it and wants to go again. Angus isn't too sure about it yet.

It's great Brodie enjoys it so much. I used to play netball but was awful at it so wasn't ever really asked to play for the school team which was annoying. Me and sport don't get on very well. My sister however, adores sport. She goes to ballet and modern lessons 3 or 4 times a week, was on the cross country team etc, all with a knackered hamstring. It's amazing. And I agree, from the looks of it, ballet can be an exceptionally demanding sport.

I remember hearing somewhere, on the tv I think, that ballet is just as demanding as a game of football & that you use around the same amount of energy too
