This is one of the things we have to put up with: men's opinion that women are useless at driving. Since, there are so many good female drivers, but people fail to notice this. What do you think? Do you think women are not as good at driving as the "folklore" says?

Statistically, women are safer drivers than men are.
When traffic accident rate in area A gets compared to the one in area B, statisticians make sure there aren't more women drivers in area A. More women drivers = lower accident rate.
So, it depends on how you look at it: women are not racers, they are wise drivers

I have seen some "racers" too, even from the women category, but mostly women are more attentive and cautios.

It's too much testosterone flying around with men, everything they do in life is a big competitive game.

Women are safer drivers, but better... well that can be debated I think from some of the girls I know
anyway, our insurance worked out to be $40 a month cheaper as I am the main driver of our car, so thats gotta say something.

uhm, please don't hate me, but most of the women i saw driving were very lousy. my bf rides his bike every day (that's his means of transport) and 90 % of the times he almost got hit by a car, it was driven by o woman...i saw women that cannot park, cannot "step on it"when they know they have to (for instance, in an intersection, a woman always stays half an hour if she wants to, she never steps on that acceleration to move on... ) and they always drive too slow! but that's not generally true... i know there are good women drivers... one of my classmates (girl) is a great driver! and some of the boys are terrible drivers!... maybe it's not a general truth, when it comes to driving, but i personally saw bad women drivers! maybe that happens in romania mostly... i noticed policemen that give drivers license only because you look good in skirts... :twisted: maybe that's why i have this opinion...well, at my exam, i weared jeans, so i got it for real... he he...

i agree with aadryanaa too it depends on the person but overall i dont think women are the best drivers

I have seen some bad women drivers. Infact I am friends with some.
