Help me with Tattoo ideas
I want a tattoo
not too big that represents my kids and husband in some way, without it being really in you face. such as i dont want hubbys name tattoooed on me, kids
sure no worries, but i would rather go for birthdates or something like star signs. my friend is getting her girls chinese year symbols tattoooed on her, which
i thought was pretty cool. so any suggestions?

What about one big heart, with 2 smaller
hearts inside it. The big heart to represent your family unit, and the 2 little ones for each girl

Can you remind me of their birth months and
star signs?

Do you want to include your symbols etc in
the tattoo? ie: the whole family unit, or just hubby and kids?

If you just wanted your hubby and kids...
http://www.vegaattractions.com/astrology/symbols.html
Scroll down to the astrological symbols. He's Cancer, so he's got the one that looks (to me) a bit like a yin-yang symbol. Inside each of the two loop
parts, you could put the Scorpio 'm'. (Actually, maybe it's just me, but I think the two halves of the Cancer symbol almost look a bit like sperm, and
given that it's the sperm that determines gender etc, that would seem to fit too.)
If you wanted to include yourself, you could bring in your star sign too (Pisces??). To me, that symbol looks a bit like a stand of some sort...you could
have that supporting the Cancer symbol with it's two Scorpio symbols, since I reckon mums do a great job of supporting their families.

I love Maori designs with Korus etc. to
represent family. You can have one made up for you using your life story. My family have a family arm band made up by one of my uncles up north, the
person who has it done has his family added. Very cool way of representing
~''When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a
thousand pieces and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies''~

Those are great ideas! thanks guys gives
me a bit more to work with. I also note that as cancer is the crab, and scorpio the scorpian, I could do a crab and 2 little scorpians, I would need to find
some cute looking ones though. lol might be hard!
