you would use a treatment instead of a

conditioner not after it, as conditioner closes the hair cuticle and if you want to be nourishing your hair you need the cuticle open. If you use a treatment

which is protein based you would then need to condition after (you would only have this at the salon though usually)

A great tip for ya gals: Rinse your hair

after shampooing with BEER, yep works like an acid rinse and the beer strips all the waxy goo we build up over time off. Real Mayo is a great conditioner,

slather some on, wait 20 mins rinse and viola shinyyyyyyyy hair.

I use expensive stuff and only wash my

hair with it every 2-3 days (otherwise my scalp get dry). I use a quarter sized dollop of shampoo and lather it in my hands, then scrub my scalp (where all

the oil is) working down to the ends. I rinse right away. Then I get a similar sized dollop of conditioner, lather in my hands a little and start at the ends. By

the time I get to the top there's very little to go on my head (so oils don't build up too quickly). I 'comb' through with my fingers and rinse

immediately.

I also wash it 2 times with shampoo.

When I had a huge hair (under the bottom) used 3 rounds of shampoo

I only wash my hair every other day

because mine too gets dried out.

I wash once with shampoo, rinse, then once with conditioner, wait a few minutes and rinse again. Pretty uncomplicated.
