Stopping smoking is very hard nicotine is a very addicting drug. I was reading in a womens health book just today how hard it is and especially for women the advertisers try to make us believe it is glamorus

I don't think I ever got into the habit of biting mine. I was fortunate to be blessed with strong nails so I go through many nail clippers haha! I've had them long naturally since I was in the 6th grade. I clip them every few weeks to get a fresh start.. and I take lots of vitamins. (That could be helping hehe)

Vitamins and a balanced diet do help a lot. A lot of the body problems can show on the nails. As the calcium deficit and others. Having strong nails is something many women would like. I have them very strong, but I just cannot see them long. This is why they're always cut as if I was a little girl ...

I agree with ramona that vitamins and healthy eating lead to good nails. I have mine short like I had them as a girl also.

I keep my nails long...

own...I grow them out...there not long,long...but not short!
