Low blood pressure? Or what?
Well yesterday something weird happened.
I was at my BF's and we were having lunch with his sister and his brother-in-law plus his mother. I was OK all day .. slept till noon (again) and then started working on a client's forum. I have a deadline and it's kinda close.
We ate and then I started feeling a bit weird. I was a bit dizzy and I saw all kinds of lights and shades. As if someone would just blink a flash light into my eyes or something like a stroboscope. It was pretty unpleasant and it lasted for minutes. I could see almost "normal", but still in the peripheral view (laterals) I saw all these "lights".
My BF feared it would be anemia, but his sister (who's a doctor) said that my palms look normal (it seems that they can say you have anemia if the lines in the palms are not normally coloured .. I think they are yellowish then or something like this).
Some say it might be low blood pressure (I have it awfully low, that's for sure).
Did any of you have similar issues? what was it in your case?

yeah i had issues like that too, but not so... serious. I usually felt dizzy and saw nothing but black for a few seconds. my doctor said it was anemia and had to take vitamins for it. my opinion is: go to your personal doctor and tell him/her the problem and do some tests. then you will know exactly what caused this...

Yeah my bf gets it sometimes. If you feel yourself getting lightheaded eat something with high sugar content, like a mars bar and see if it gets any better. For him, it's low blood sugar rather than low blood pressure. But I recommend going to the docs.
