Morgan...

This is my first entry! Yay! Well I have always tried to keep a diary throughout my life and have never been able to continue one. So I thought I would give a online diary a go! Big Grin

What to start with hey? well I'm glad I have come across this lovely forum! Lots of interesting threads going on and from what I have read the ladies all seem really nice and like to have a joke with each other.

I have the whole house to myself at the moment. Jayson and my son Rohan are asleep. It's a pretty hot day and the computer happens to be right in front of a vent and I'm getting the air conditioner on me. Brrr!

Just been doing not so interesting stuff today. We washed the car this morning, as we went driving through the bush yesterday. Jayson had great fun trying to get all the red mud off the tired and under the car.

We went for a bit of a bush bash to check out a pool called Gum Pool. It's about 20 min drive from the town. We live in the desert and there is red dirt as far as the eye can see. It's nice to go see a pool with gum trees and bush grass everywhere along the pool edge. We took some photos and I nearly ran into a goanna. It was only a little one but scared the crap out of me. Hehe!

We then drove out and went to find another pool called Alan's Pool. It takes aaaaaaages to get to the pool but it's a ok place. Not as nice as Gum Pool. More like a big dirty puddle! We took some more pictures and had something to eat and had a look round.

We then left and took a drive back to town. The car was pretty filthy and red dirt and mud everywhere. Oh well that's what it's for, it is a 4WD after all. Hehe!

We took some stuff to the library and dropped some bags of clothes off at the op-shop.

We are moving in 19 days to another town down south. Jayson has a new job at a town called Ravensthorpe. We will live at Hopetoun which is 50km from Ravensthorpe. I can't wait to leave here, I'am so sick of this place and everyone here. Hopetoun is on the beach and national parks for miles. I have had enough of this red dirt town and the scorching heat. Beaches and 4WD through green national parks here we come.

It's like a new start for us, Jayson hates it here to. He has nothing to do really. At least at Hopetoun he will be able to go fishing! My son will love it to, lots to explore and a new house to live in. He will start at a brand new school next year and everything.

Good times for all!...... Tongue

Oh, the diary is superbe. You have such a nice place to talk about .. we're stuck in a big city in Romania, no beaches, no bushes, nothing Sad

I'm sure you'll do just fine on the new place. I would have loved the older one too. I think for us would be quite adventurous. Anyway .. I take your word for it .. too much heat and a small town are not that nice when you have to live there more ...

Beaches .. you're so lucky .. last time I saw a beach it was last summer when I went to the seaside wuth my BF :?

Keep us updated on the journal .. lovely things you have to say here. I have to say it's one of the most interesting diaries on WOF Smile

Thanks! Yeah it will be nice to be near the ocean. I don't like to swim, but I don't mind being ON the beach. We got a pool out here, but It's so bloody glary and then I get a headache and yeah lol! Also after Christmas when it gets to the hottest, all the stink bugs come out. :?

Blah! I'm so tired, my son always has to get up at the crack of dawn. I better get a sleep in tomorrow and Jayson can get up at 5.30am. Tongue

Blah what a boring day! All I have done today is argue with with hubby and tell my son to stop talking in my ear. Ladeda...

I can't wait to leave this dump town I hate it here HATE IT!!! Nearly all the women are bitches and gossipers. Maybe I haven't helped being bitchy back sometimes, but god dammit I'm sick of of the women who roam round in groups.

I used to be friends with my next door neighbours when they moved in and Rohan played with their kids but suddenly for some reason they have stopped talking to me. The only time one of my neighbours even talks to me it's to weedle infomation out of me like what is the date I'm leaving. Shes probably only asking so she can have something to gossip about to her little group of bitches.

Like I'm going to tell her, she doesn't talk to me for weeks on end and expects me to tell her like we are best friends or some shit.

Pfffff! I got into the post office yesterday and a woman I have never spoken to the entire time I have lived in this town says hi to me. I'm thinking, *ok then*. So I say hi and she says to me, *I heard you're leaving town? Where are you moving to?* That's the mentality of this town! I turn to this woman and look at her and I say * I dont even know who you are and what your name is. I have never spoken to you before and now that you find out from someone that I'm moving you speak to me as if you know me and try and weedle info out of me. I don't know you so I'm not going to tell you anything. I'm sorry that's how I work.*

And don't get me started about the washed out woman who works at the post office.

Aaaaaaaaagh! I have just gotten back from doing some driving practice. I think I got the car in to the parking bay in reverse like 3 times out of 10. I have my driving test on Tuesday and I really hope I pass!!! :x

Oh we're keeping our fingers crossed for you. You'll make it, don't worry Smile

As for the women you talk about .. been there done that. This is the main reason I don't know all my neighbours (I live in a block with 60 families) and speak to only a handful of them. I hate them when they're spending all day commenting on how I dress, what hours I was home and so on.

I have some very nosy neighbours and I totally dislike them. I work almost all day long and I don't have the time to lose with them. This is why I'd just say Hi and then be on my way ...

I can feel your pain. In a small town I think it's even worse than in my situation. You'll move and be OK. Let them be as they are .. stupid gossipers. You are NOT like that and they'll have to be OK with that. The problem is that they never understand that YOU're better than them, but this is what happens with limited people. I stopped caring a long time ago about what some people think about me. I always love being around smart people, people I feel are better than myself and try to be as they are. As for the "inferior" type of persons, I just ignore them since I'll never be "good enough for them" .. we're a different breed I think ...

I think you're a great person and I'd surely love being around you. Even if we have thousands of miles between us, I do relate to you and to some other wonderful women on WOF. This is making me happy since I was able to gather such nice people here.

Keep us posted on the driving exam and keep your chin up .. they don't deserve you Smile

Better have them give you those weird looks than become one of them ... I believe we're meant to achive greatness on this life. This is why I try to better myself and become a smarter person, better behaved and so on. Getting into THEIR ways means a regress in my eyes, this is why I try to keep a polite distance from such persons and mind my own "getting better" way of living Wink

Another day nearly finished. Had a bit of a thunderstorm early this morning and didn't get onto the net till later in the morning. Just read a book and watched telly, went out later in the morning to the shops with Jayson and Rohan and bought some food and did some reversing practice for my driving test. Didn't do a very good job!!! Have feeling of not passing driving test on Tues.

Did some packing this afternoon and cleared out stuff from my wardrobe, just paperwork stuff and albums and other crap. Stacked a whole pile of stuff in the spare room and threw out some crap.

Expecting the weekly phone call from best friend who's in England tonight. Will have a good chat to her!

That's about it for today. Was hoping to go out this arvo to get some more practice but Jayson not interested in moving out the front door again.

Not long to Rohan's 4th birthday! Hopefully the presents I ordered online will arrive next week or early the week after!
