Practical Toys
It seems as if all the toys that are discussed on here are techno-toys; they're expensive, they're fun, they're cool, but they don't actually put any more minutes into your day or make your life that much easier.
Or am I wrong? What's a toy that actually makes a positive difference in the way you live? What's more useful than fun?

alison, excellent topic. I have to say that the washing machine and the vacuum cleaner do make a difference. We realise this when they stop functioning

Speaking of vacuum cleaners, I don't think I could live without my Scooba or Roomba robots. A few years ago I could, but not anymore.

yup, Ramona is right...although those aren't neceserelly "toys"...
But the PC is very important, too... it can be the "toy" you earn money with. Lots of people work on the computer and they are not wasting time with it...
The good, the bad and.. the blog
