Share your experience with dandruff
Hi gals,
Does anyone out here suffer with dandruff? Although the problem seems to be very common but not negligible. I used to suffer a lot with dandruff which leads to a major hair loss . I used everything…anti dandruff shampoo, medicated shampoo prescribed by doctors. But all were in vain. On later a home made solution of onion, lemon and aloe vera worked well for me.
Friends, if you've any experience please share it.

i used to have a lot of dandruff when i was little. Now the dandruff appears only if i don't wash my hair for more than a week, but very little.
My parents told me to wash my hair with eggs (you just crack 1-2 eggs in your hair and wash it) and then rinse it with vinegar. It makes your hair look better and it's also healthy (eggs have lots of vitamins)

Dnt talk about dandruff!!! :x I hate this thing! I have it since my teens, it came and went with time but nowadays its making my life hell. I have naturally dry skin I guess this adds up to the reasons wny I have dandruff.
@nikita-if you have a good recipe do share it here. Im tired of using those medial shampoos that have short term solutions only!!! Thanks!

I used to have this problem years ago and I solved it with a shampoo called Head and Shoulders. it was good back then, afterwards they began producing it in Romania and I stopped using it. It was so concentrated I would burn my hair. But still I didn't have dandruff issues from then on.

Thanks a lot for all of your reply. It’s quite difficult to get rid of dandruff. Once you remove them they can appear at any time. As I state earlier that a mixture of lemon, onion and aloe vera worked well for me. But I think making hair clean is the main thing. Once we remove them; we don’t take too much care of our hair. So naturally it comes again. Doctors say that we need to clean everything which are related to our hair….like hair, comb, towel, cap etc. Because unclear hair is the platform for dandruff to grow well. I’ve also heard that stress is also responsible for dandruff. Although it’s quite difficult to become stress free in our present lifestyle . But stress is one of the main reasons for causing many problems in our body.
Strapless here is also a good remedy that you may try-
First of all take some Neem leaves and boil them in a cup of water. After boiling take a filter of it and leave it to get cold. Then mix 1 tsp. of olive oil with 1 tsp. of almond oil. Gently massage your scalp with this mixture and then leave it for 5-6 minutes. After that rinse your hair with that neem water. Then don’t wash your hair for about 2 hrs.

I dont have dandruff but I have psoriasis on my scalp (and other places) which flakes a lot and looks like dandruff anyway. I have found that using tea tree oil shampoo (or placing a little tea tree oil in normal shampoo) helps a lot with the flaking. Also Head & Shoulders or Selsun Blue is good, not only for dandruff but psoriasis too.
I havent lost my mind ... its backed up on disc .. somewhere

The resort that's said to have quite some good results in treating psoriasis. My ex boss's husband has it and they plan to get him there for some days to try the "doktor fish" cure.
Adi .. sorry to hear about this I have no issues with it anymore, but sometimes what's good for someone is not good for another person. Try to get rid of the dandruff first with Head and Shoulders or Nizoral maybe ...
Or Selegel by Ducray .. a coleague of mine recommends it
