So, I'm the new girl. I can't express how happy I am to have found this site. I am a nurse, mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt. So, I usually have plenty of things that have happened through my day that I like to talk about. My husband is not really good with conversation and my friends list is somewhat limited. It will be nice to be able to have a real conversation with people who are willing to listen to my thoughts and opinions and to have them share theirs. I love the fact that this site is for women only because I really am just looking for conversation and maybe friendship. I can't wait to start meeting people and getting to know them.

I have been feeling sick. I just can't think of anything to talk about. Nothing new on the work front. My husband thinks that my user ID suggests that I am presenting myself as single, lol. What I am presenting myself as is lonely. I am lonely with few people to speak to on a deep and personal level. Anyway, that's all the news from me. Off to sniffle and sneeze my way through my night shift.

So, I'm a nurse. I work nights. I've been nursing for two and a half years. I am married and have a 5 year old daughter and an 8 year old step-daughter. I have a brother who lives with us for the time being. I have two other brothers who are both family men. We are a close family. We get together twice a month for family dinners. I am nine weeks away from gastric bypass surgery. Ummm, I guess for now that is me in a nutshell, lol.
