Skyes Diary
I had it, Im no longer happy at where I am in my life right about now. Im 21 and dislike school with a passion, but know If I want to do something with my life I need a degree. Im unhappy because I look at my friends one is in the Army and she loves her life. The other is married and has a son and is happy, except for the fact her husband is always gone because he is in the NAVY.. not to metion always moving. So people have the things they want and I feel im not happy, alone shall I say. I want to be happy, but how do I really become that way. Were going to move in a few months, but what if I feel the same over their. Has anyone felt the same way..

RE: Skyes Diary
Hello and
to the forums.I am sad to read your diary entry, but I hope the next ones will be happier ![]() I felt like this many times in my life. What made it better was going forward for my goals. This happiness is a tricky thing. I can tell you I am happy now, even if I am working my butt of to be able to afford a car and few clothes. I was happy years ago when I was poor and in highschool or when I was in college working again like crazy to support myself and help my family. You need to find happiness in small things. The fact you saw the sun today, maybe there were some nice flowers on the way to the grocery shop, you saw some nice kids etc. You already have a goal and you are fortunate for it. Most young people have no clue, but you know that school is your ticket to a better job and maybe life. It is. Try to focus on this and enjoy it. Enjoy the good results, a night out at the movies, try to not beat yourself too much. You are not your friends, you are you. I also have friends who are better in life or I think they are more achieved. It comes down to many factors, not just hard work. But I try to see where I am now as compared to 10 years or even 5 or 3 before and I tell you my life is amazing. Track your personal development over the last years and you'd be amazed to see how you've grown. At 21 you really have the life ahead of you. Get into some sports, for your spare time. Meet new people, have fun. Don't worry abour marriage or kids, there's still time for this. Play your career card well and in 10 years I promise you life will seem pretty decent. When you'll drive your favourite car, be able to go to trips in nice places, be able to afford a nice skirt or an amazing perfume and not worry for not having food on the table, being your own boss in your firm or working on a very highly paid job, having a wonderful man by your side etc. Don't rush into anything just because others do it. Know your own pace and go on your way
