Hi LaLa,
No, I have since I was little drank sodas I wish mom never let me start. I wish she got me on tea instead like my cousin Rocky's mom Wanda did.
I am trying to break away from there or at least 1 a month if possible. I can't imagine not ever drinking a coke or Dr Pepper. I love tea with lemon in fact dad got me a case of Arizona lemon tea yesterday I need to break down and drink that.
I hope you and yours are well we're doing o.k. here.
Now for breakfast all ladies drank a slim fast, then for a snack, 2 pieces of ham dad got from the Walmart deli that had ben sliced real then, love it and had a piece of cheese rolled in it.
For lunch I had rye bread, mayo, ham tomatoes and cheese with a cold drink.
Dinner I had 3 egg rolls oh love them from Jack _ In _ The Box and had sweet and sour sauce.
I was in an o.k. mood, we had to go to the tax office and contest on our taxes again being so high at least we got $100 knocked off helped. BORRINNNNG!!! But put  's down while I waited for mom and dad to come out to share with you ladies and good memories I want to share with you all too. I hope all of you will enjoy hearing.
I will be back tomorrow as always that is all for now unless I snack or have a what's is the word a break down and almost or stuff my face and need to say HELP! lol

Dejavu I admire you for working that much for your health. Getting on a diet is indeed an important thing, but let's not forget the importance of exercise either. I know you already work on this and as soon as the foot is getting better you'll take care of this aspect too.
I don't believe in diets that much: I believe in HEALTHY nutrition and sports. I don't like seeing women try "killer diets" since many times they're in for a big disappointment. You need to make sure you do have all the vitamins and minerals your body needs. Many women fail to understand this and they get into other problems. Make sure you have a good nutritionist by your side and that you won't damage your body on the long run.
Aim for smaller goals. Don't try to lose 30 pounds in 2 months because youll eventually die. Try to set a smaller and more normal goal: let's say 2 pounds a month or something similar. Work for this smaller goal by keeping a very healthy diet and working out as soon as you can. Keep on thinking about the wellness of your body and don't do anything that might damage it.
Another problem I see with many diets it's that they're a temporary thing. I can understand how frustrating eating only cabbage for days can be, and this is why I don't advocate such diets. Of course many times you're so frustrated you just need a cake to either "celebrate" the weight loss or compensate the frustration of the dreaded diet. I consider dieting as something permanent. LEARN to live with this. Not a hard diet, something healthy and complete. A new way of life in the end. with a good nutrition and exercise you'll have a healthy life and yes, lose weight too.
Another thing that needs be said is that skinny is not always the way. I am a tall and thin girl, but the only moment I started looking good was when I started doing sports. A nice toned body is beautiful. You don't have to be skinny, you can have some "puffiness" but with a toned body you'll look just awesome.
Don't give up, don't overkill. Take baby steps, keep on eating healthy and of course .. sports are your friend.
I know you know most of this stuff, but I just wanted to say it all over again
Best of luck and please feel free to keep us posted on your progress and all the possible problems you run into

dejavu, i know how you feel on this whole diet thing, im also trying to loose weight and i also have a hard time dealing with diets and exercise, i have alot of weight to loose maybe we can keep each other motivated, im having a hard time with coffee and not soda(dont drink hardly any) but starbuck coffee is so much harder to give up. lets keep each other motivated and maybe we can do this together.
