Periodontitis is what you're "preparing" for .. try to go to the dentist and have a special treatment for this. discuss with the dentist all your options and also start a very serious treatment and cleaning process. Otherwise you'll lose your teeth.

1. have the periodontic treatment done .. it might be only medication on the affected gums or even small operations in there. Hang on there, shouldn't hurt (with anesthetics) and it would help save those teeth. I have some small issues with 2 teeth that nee to rotate 90 degrees as part of my braces treatment. I was told to expect some periodontic issues in that teeth's case since the gum will retract because of the rotation. it's something under control though and I will have specialized treatment in this case too ...

2. brush teeth regularly .. I mean regularly. You need to floss too and use a specialized mouth wash. We have something called CORSODYL in Romania, great for ulcerations and gingivitis. I am sure you can find something similar. Again, discuss with your dentist ... they know about such things. Use this once a day (in the evening, before you go to sleep. That's when I also floss and mouthwash).

3. You need to go to specialized cleanings too .. at least twice a year.I have to get my plaque removed too ... this is also one of the main causes for gingivitis. The plague irritates the gum, it hurts, you don't brush too well since it hurts, more plaque goes there, more irritation and so on ...

I was supposed to have a jacket for my teeth but my dentist suggested that i should have pasta & braces instead. I had an x-ray so that she can examine my teeth. The picture taking for my teeth was funny, choking and weird all at the same time :lol:

oh i have jacket as well, but im trying to change it for its really obvious its a jacket....i want something thats not really noticeabe

there are variety of jackets available, basically the more expensive it is, the more natural it looks

I have no cavities at all at the moment and my teeth are in very good shape. I had them treated because i was about to have braces, so my teeth needed to be ok. All in all it cost about 300$ and now i have 'happy teeth'

hey girlfriends, I now wear braces. My dentist told me, I'll lose more weight until I can adjust. I'm having a hard time right now but I still try to eat a lot since, I'm thin and I don't want to look anorexic :shock:

try protein shakes if you like that sort of thing
