The first time I used a computer was back in 1990 when I was 10 and they had a computer class with the good old apple macs and some other kind. I actually joined a computer club where once a week you could book yourself in for a go and play a game I thought it was hell fun!

You were so lucky to have access then. I don't thin too many Romanians knew what a computer was back then, even if we had some people from my town create such systems... I was 15 when first touched a computer and 24 when having my own ...

The funny thing is the computer back when I was 10 were more high teched than the ancient things they had us use in my first year of highschool. The keyboard and computer was one whole machine with green letters! Lol! How funny! Then I left that school after one term and the new school had more high tech computers, but it was 1993 after all...

i remember back in 1998 (the year i first touched a PC ) my mum told me she already knows about computers, but she didn't realise that she worked on those BIG computers with a floppy disk as big as a book! and then, after she saw the computer my dad bought for the family she remained astonished.... wow, the technology!

I was thinking back to when I was in High School and when I had joined the computer club. I think it was '83. We didn't have our own computers but we did have cards that we could fill in by colouring in the letters so that we could have messages printed out. The teacher would then send the cards away and after a week or so we would get back the printed piece of work in a poster format. Nothing flash mind you just a black and white print out.
