We are used to having a PC and stay online as we wish. Still, computers weren't something some of us were born with. So, when did you first use a PC?

I had a hysterectomy and could not do very much the frist few weeks.So hubby got me a laptop last year and that was the frist time I used one.

I *think* I was three. Not positive though...

First computer I used wasn't a pc. It was a remote location to a Honeywell mainframe back in the days when punched papertape was still used as external storage.

i think iwas in gradeschool..i cant remember clearly which grade i was

in 1998.
my dad used to brag for a long time that he would buy a computer for the family...but he kept postponing it...but in 1998 he came through the door with a pentium 1.. he he...that was the first time i used a computer....i was 12 years old.

I was a teacher in a high school and in one of my subjects it required kids to access a data base. I had no idea on how turn on a computer or even what a data base was. Not wanting to have my students think I was "uncool" I quickly asked my friend who was the computer teacher to show me the ropes. That was my first intoductions to PCs. I"ve been hooked ever since.

I think I was around 11 or 12 in school when I was introduced to the PC. We has these Apple computers that are probably antique looking now. I didn't get my own PC until I was around 20 years old though.

dad always had commodore 20s and a commodore 64 so they are what I learned on when I was a kid

oh... trusty old comodore my bf managed to break one :lol: he always tried new stuff, and he broke his only comodore a long time ago,of course
