What do you want to be when you grow up?

If you could have any career, what would it be? At the moment I have no desire to work in the field I am qualified in (teaching) so I'm thinking about

what else I could do. The front runners are becoming a Librarian, or a Dietician.
What do you do? Do you love it? Anything you'd rather do? What would you do if you could do anything?

I love all three jobs that I have at the

moment.

They are each so different, but each have really great aspects to them.

Echocardiography (ultrasound assessment

of cardiac structure and function):- mentally challenging, really interesting, always something new to learn, great job satisfaction (I like working with

people and being able to help in some way).

Kindergarten teacher aide:- way less mentally challenging that echoes, but nice being around the kids. I look after the art resources, and it's quite

relaxing sorting out the stuff in the storeroom, mixing paints to make 'new' colours, etc. Nice to be working at the same place Dana attends morning

kindy (work while she's in session).

My at-home job in which I have no idea what to call myself:- proof-reading and formatting formal reports for a private crash investigation company. Also

includes stolen car reports. Fairly new to this, but they're already letting me help to compose some of the reports, based on the evidence etc that they

collect. Interesting reading and also need to keep my wits about me in order to pick up any errors, or conflicting evidence/witness statements etc.

Mrs Moo - isn't it great when your job is

something you love? Smile Your last sentence sums up my echo job...well, back in the days when it was my full-time career. Now that it's a very part-time

thing (mainly a SAHM these days) the stress and hard work factors seem so much less than previously.
