The world is crazy. 1 day till the start of the World Cup for Soccer, in Germany. Will you watch the events? or are you just fed up with it?

Funny thing: here in the U.S., people are more interested in Women's Soccer than Men's. (Sorry to call it "soccer," but "football" is something else here.) People know who Mia Hamm is, but I couldn't name one male American soccer player, and I don't think many other Yanks could, either.

Well, with due respect to the American male soccer team, I don't quite recall them to be outstanding :lol: It really seems that in USA the american football is the thing everyone thinks about (and baseball). Nice hearing about the ladies though. In romania the women team is quite unknown

Yes and England are playing tonight so fingers crossed.Having a baracue and some of my drinks I have brought back from majorca.Hope they win.Even putting tv out side.

I have watched few matches. I hope Germany will win, but I didn't watch their games.

I feel so sorry for the English team after losing against Portugal...

I never watch sports...I don't really understand them. However, I saw bits and pieces while at the airport because EVERY TV was playing it. People gathered by the masses to catch a glimpse. Crazy people!

i hate sports, too... here in romania they are mostly a big waste of time... everyone is buying eneryone... it's not about abilities, but about who has the most money... sad, but very true... so i never watch footbal, i hate it...
